Gulfton Goes Global This Saturday — And There’s Even More in Store

This Saturday, July 11, the Gulfton Management District invites the entire community to a day unlike any other. The SER Niños Charter School Parking Lot at 5610 Gulfton St will be transformed into a vibrant hub of culture, safety, food, and family fun — with not one, but two exciting events happening side by side.

The Gulfton Global Market is a free community pop-up market celebrating the diversity, flavor, and energy that make Gulfton one of Houston’s most dynamic neighborhoods. From global food vendors and local artisans to live music and kids’ activities, this is an afternoon designed for the whole family.

What to Expect:

  • Global food vendors and local artisan makers
  • Live music throughout the afternoon
  • Free face painting and balloon art for kids
  • Special appearance and meet and greet with @houstonsgotspice

Meet @HoustonsGotSpice

If you love food, this is your moment. Christina Autry, known across Houston and beyond as @houstonsgotspice, is one of the city’s most beloved food content creators. With a passion for discovering hidden gems, local flavors, and the stories behind the dishes, she has built a loyal following of food enthusiasts who trust her to find the best bites in the city — and she does not disappoint. The Gulfton Global Market is the perfect stage for her presence, and this is a rare opportunity to meet her in person. Come hungry, come ready, and don’t miss your chance to connect with one of Houston’s most exciting food voices.

Radio Boss Kiotti, Clutch the Mascot, and Diesel the official mascot of the Houston Dynamos will also be on-site keeping the energy high and the crowd entertained throughout the afternoon. 🎶⚽

Summer Fest: A Safety Resource Event | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
