The mission of Ride with Refugees is to raise awareness about refugees, engage the Houston community, and promote mobility. On October 14, 2023, we will host our 2nd annual community ride in Gulfton and Sharpstown, one of our nation’s most diverse communities and a heavily refugee-populated area of Houston. Cyclists are invited to ride 7-ish miles to get to know the area. Please see our website for details, including the route map!

All riders must be able to ride a bike; Ride with Refugees is not an instructional event. All riders must agree to wear a helmet (we can provide if needed) and closed-toe shoes (Crocs don’t count!). Minimum riding age is 12 years old. All riders must bring their own bikes. All riders must sign the liability waiver included in this form.

Register by October 7. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions!
