Alice Lee became Chief of Staff to Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones in January 2023. Since 2009, Alice was with Hawes Hill & Associates LLP and served as a partner for approximately the last 8 years. She served mainly as the executive director for the Southwest Management District. Alice previously served as Chief of Staff to Houston Council Members Martha Wong and Chris Bell and was the administrative coordinator for Mayor Pro-Tem Gordon Quan and Carol Alvarado until she retired from the City of Houston in September 2004. She and her husband Mark Lee have two adult children, Eric (age 25) and Katherine (age 24). In her spare time, Alice rescues cats and supports trap/neuter/release efforts.

Special Presentation: Steve Stelzer, Houston Resiliency

Steven M. Stelzer has 30 years of diverse architectural firm experience in Houston with a focus in construction administration most recently Heights Venture Architects. As Program Director of the Green Building Resource Center, Steve offers green building strategies for plans brought in by the public, develops and maintains green strategy displays, coordinates green building tours, and facilitates educational programs.
