Friends,
Houston City Council is considering a resolution to rename Terminal E at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in honor of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. A dedicated public servant for over 30 years, she played a pivotal role in securing more than $125 million in federal funding for the Houston Airport System and tirelessly advocated for our city on the national stage.
This Proposition A proposal, led by Council Member Edward Pollard and seven colleagues, recognizes her lasting impact and follows the tradition of honoring influential Houstonians at our airports. Now, we want to hear from you!
